What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a virtual SIM card that can be installed using a QR code. It contains all the information you need to activate a cellular plan and is much easier than a traditional SIM card. It makes it possible to switch networks easily without replacing a physical SIM card.
Is my device eSIM enabled?

GoSim eSIM can be used with the following devices:

  • Apple iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max and later
  • Samsung Galaxy S21+/S21 Ultra 5G, Samsung Galaxy S20/S20+/S Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung Note 20 /20+/ FE/ Ultra/ Ultra 5G, Samsung Galaxy Fold/ Fold2 5G, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and later.
  • Google Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Google Pixel 5 and later.
  • Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P30, Huawei P30 Pro, Huawei Mate 20, Huawei Mate 20 Pro and later
  • Sony Xperia 1, Xperia 5 and later
  • OnePlus 8, 8 Pro and later
  • LG G8 ThinQ, V50 ThinQ and later

If your device isn't listed here but it's compatible with eSIM, our GoSim eSIM can be used.

Can I upgrade my package in the meantime?
Yes, definitely, order a data bundle again and then start a live chat with us. Provide your order number for your first order and your upgrade order and we'll add the extra data directly to your eSIM card!
How do I buy an eSIM?
From our range of countries, you can choose the data plan you need. We offer global or region-specific data plans, depending on your destination and data usage.
Once you've selected your preferred data plan based on your travel destination, simply click “Order Now”. Your data plan is created and added to your Gosim account (My eSIM).

Important! All TravelSIM data plans must be activated before they can be used under My Account.
How long will my eSIM be active?
GoSim offers 7-day or 30-day eSIM subscriptions. Your eSIM stays active as long as you charge or upgrade it. In your account you'll see all your details about your eSIM, such as data usage and running time.
In which countries is eSIM available?
GoSim eSIM covers over 125 countries. You can use the full list of countries here view.
Do I have to buy my eSIM before I travel or when I arrive?
Both are possible. Buy it right before you leave or when you arrive at your destination. Whichever is most convenient for you. GoSim eSIM bundles have different periods of validity and the validity period starts upon purchase. So, unless you're traveling longer than a month, you can purchase a 30-day bundle before you leave, and the duration covers your entire stay abroad.

If you haven't purchased a subscription before you leave, you can also purchase your data plan when you arrive at your destination. Of course, you need a working internet connection for this 😉
